My work is about defining a space in time, both physical and emotional. One of contemplation and reflection. Of what is to come, what has been, and that which is here and now. To everything its own place and season. It is important that my work reflect my faceted nature, to evoke a sense of calm and be a vehicle for what is common between individuals.

Working in clay and firing with wood keeps me connected to the basic elements of life. It provides me moments to practice patience, commitment and hard, physical work.
